Course of studies
The programme follows a cross-disciplinary approach, providing competence in both Business Psychology and Administration.
In semester 1 and 2 the main focus is on basics of Psychology, Economics, Business Administration and Law. Semesters 3 and 4 add areas where psychology is applied to business issues and processes especially Work and Organizational Psychology, Diagnostics, Evaluation, Market and Advertising Psychology, Market Research and last but not least the Psychology of Macroeconomic Processes. In semester 4 you can opt for one of two specializations, i.e. HR and Organization or Marketing which you will follow up across several modules of your choice in semester 5. In addition, you will be working in tutored groups on a project run with corporate partners or combining current issues of our business environment. At the beginning of semester 6, you are expected to spend a 3-month internship in a company or another suitable organization, applying the skills acquired on the programme. Your last step towards graduation is a 2-month Bachelor thesis.
There is an option to spend one semester abroad at one of the partner universities of the Faculty of Business and Health. Your study-abroad term will give you a chance to study perspectives of Business Psychology in other countries and to upgrade your language skills.
