Figma Improvisation with Denise Albrecht, Katharina Lübeck, Dennis Jegel, Lovis Knechtel, Florian Kühnle Following the artist talk with Rachele Maistrello, the students perform a typographical improvisation on figma.com. Starting out from Rudolf Frieling’s Text Das Archiv, die Medien, die Karte und der Text (available on www.medienkunstnetz.de), the performers first make use of more classical strategies of layout. But soon enough, playfulness, nonverbal interaction, and at last competitive behaviour find their way into the process of arranging text within the given, limited space. Towards the end, the canvas is saturated with several layers, text has turned into texture, and the performers feel they have to come to an end.
