Ausgangspunt der Betrachtung ist die Perspektive einer „Kultur der Digitalität“ (Stalder 2016), die als dominantes Merkmal der Gegenwart verstanden wird. Auf Grundlage dieses Ansatzes soll verdeutlicht werden, dass sich Digitalisierung in der Schule nicht in der Nutzung digitaler Technik im Unterricht erschöpft, sondern – im Sinne von Digitalität – die Organisation als Ganzes und insbesondere ihre Kultur betrifft und verändert. In dem Beitrag werden deshalb die verschiedenen Ebenen der Organisation Schule in den Blick genommen. Dadurch soll die oft enggeführte Betrachtung überwunden werden. Die Analyse verdeutlicht, wie tiefgreifend der kulturelle Wandel durch digitale Technik bereits jetzt Schulen verändert und zeigt zugleich deutliche Forschungslücken auf. The starting point of the analysis is the perspective of a “culture of digitality” (Stalder 2016), which is understood as a dominant characteristic of the present. Based on this approach, the aim is to illustrate that digitalisation in schools is not limited to the use of digital technology in the classroom, but—in terms of digitality—affects and changes the organisation as a whole and its culture in particular. This article therefore looks at the various levels of the school organisation. This is intended to overcome the often narrow perspective on digitality in educational contexts. The analysis illustrates how profoundly the cultural change brought about by digital technology is already changing schools and at the same time highlights clear gaps in research. Seitdem ist eine Vielzahl von Publikationen im Themenfeld Digitalisierung in Kindertageseinrichtungen erschienen – etwaige Risiken für Kinder spielen hier jedoch kaum mehr eine Rolle. Im Vordergrund steht vielmehr die Frage, in welchem Umfang und in welcher Form digitale Medien in den Einrichtungen\r\ngenutzt werden (z. B. Cohen, Oppermann & Anders, 2021; Knauf, 2019b; Knauf & Lepold, 2021; Rettenbacher,\r\n2022). Ein weiterer Teil der publizierten Beiträge befasst sich mit Haltungen und Einstellungen pädagogischer\r\nFachkräfte zur Digitalisierung (z. B. Friedrichs-Liesenkötter, 2016; Nieding & Klaudy, 2020) oder der Akzeptanz digitaler\r\nTechnologien (Schönborn & Kuhl, 2022). In this paper, we describe how we, as qualitative researchers, responded to the crisis by comparing our experiences in conducting remote interviews in two German contexts: 1) with employees from a video game company during the summer of 2020 and 2) with several political and non-political actors in a rural region during autumn 2020 to summer 2021. Drawing on these experiences, we provide lessons learned for times when physical distancing is necessary but also beyond. While we faced some challenges and limitations, such as technical difficulties and a lack of contextual insights on-site, we also found a more profound quality in the absence of the regular interview setting. The present study investigates how this (self-) presentation takes place and which visual messages play a role in it. Using visual analysis, we compared pictures of German- and French-language Instagram posts. It turns out that both national contexts are dominated by images that can be interpreted as visualizations of intensive motherhood. The visual analysis brings out the intimate connection between the mothers and their children, and at the same time a professional understanding of motherhood. Despite different national traditions and frameworks of motherhood in France and Germany, there are great similarities in the visual representation of mothers on Instagram. Both projects investigate the phenomena of knowledge sharing and crisis-related learning in business organizations under the GD paradigm, which has been increasingly adopted within the Computer- supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) community. During these projects, the researchers with backgrounds in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, and sociology experienced the need for systematization to transition between the stages of GD. Looking back, we realize that our teams arrived at this systematization by blending the prior knowledge from team members’ original educational backgrounds. While blending practices most likely happens intuitively in interdisciplinary projects, as is often the case of the user-centered design initiatives seen in CSCW and Human-Computer Interaction, little can be found on how this usually happens and its implications. This article explores peer support volunteers’ motives for voluntary engagement in a model project in Germany. It aims to gain a deeper understanding of peer support approaches and their underlying motivations in an innovative context. Twenty-three qualitative interviews with peer support volunteers were analyzed according to Mayring’s qualitative content analysis. Results showed that voluntary engagement fulfills a heterogeneous range of functions for peer support volunteers. Alongside “typical” volunteers’ motives, there were peer-specific functions such as motivation due to own personal experiences and the objective of changing societal attitudes toward mental health. Auf der Grundlage qualitativer\r\nInterviews mit Eltern von Kindern unter 10 Jahren wurden Perspektiven der Erziehungsberechtigten auf\r\ndie pandemiebedingte Ausnahmesituation rekonstruiert. Dabei wurden sowohl immense Belastungen\r\nals auch neu gefundene Ressourcen identifiziert. Deutlich wird, dass für Eltern weniger die Notwendigkeit,\r\nzusätzlich Zeit mit den Kindern zu verbringen, belastend war. Vielmehr waren es die Anforderungen\r\nder Erwerbsarbeit und teilweise auch der Schule, die zu Überlastung geführt haben. Zugleich wurde die\r\nPhase der Einschränkungen auch als Gewinn erlebt, weil das Familienleben nicht mehr durch äußere Termine\r\ndeterminiert war, gemeinsame Aktivitäten an Bedeutung gewannen und das Lernen für die Schule\r\nindividueller und teils auch entspannter umgesetzt werden konnte."},{"lang":"eng","text":"As a result of the COVID 19 pandemic, Germany experienced considerable restrictions in private and\r\npublic life from March 2020. Schools and early childhood centers were closed; many people worked from\r\nhome and extensive contact restrictions applied. This working paper analyses the consequences of the\r\npandemic for families in Germany. On the basis of qualitative interviews with parents of children under\r\n10 years of age, perspectives of the parents and guardians on the pandemic-related exceptional situation\r\nwere reconstructed. Thereby, both immense burdens and newly found resources were identified.
