While individualization of software components according to a person’s specific needs is comparably cheap, individualization of the sensor hardware itself is usually impossible in mass production. At the same time, the number of raw sensors should be minimum to reduce production costs. In this contribution, we propose to model this challenge as a feature selection problem, which optimizes a feature set simultaneously with respect to a family of functions corresponding to individualized post-processing of sensor signals. This concept is integrated into a number of different classical feature selection schemes, and evaluated in the context of the placement of pressure sensors as part of a shoe insole. Researchers are thus tasked with the daunting and challenging task of building and refining search queries in their quest for sufficient coverage and proper representation of the literature. In this paper, we propose an adaptive Boolean query generation and refinement pipeline for SLR search. Our approach utilizes a reinforcement learning technique to learn the optimal modifications for a query based on the feedback collecting from the researchers about the query retrieval performance. They employ third-party APIs to serve end-users via natural language interactions and improve their productivity. Recently, the augmentation of process-enabled automation with conversational assistants emerged as a promising technology to make process automation closer to users. This paper focuses on the superimposition of task-oriented assistants over composite services. We propose a Human-bot-Process interaction acts that are relevant to represent natural language conversations between the user and multi-step processes.
